Osmoderma lassallei Baraud & Tauzin, 1991

ℹ  Information: Osmoderma lassallei, is uncommon species described by Baraud & Tauzin in 1991 from Greece. It occurs primarily in Greece, including the Peloponnese, and extends to European Turkey. It prefers old still-standing oaks (Quercus sp.), chesnuts (Castanea sp.), and old plane trees (Platanus sp.).

Body length: 25 - 30 mm 
Peak activity: May - August
