Information: Iranobrium brancuccii, a species occurring in Arabian Peninsula, has been described from Saudi Arabia by Holzschuh, 1993. A monochromatic light brown species, it is a maximum of 7 mm in size. A nocturnal species that is often attracted to light.

Remarks: Iranobrium brancuccii Holzschuh, 1993 (cf.), I have repeatedly collected Dhofar province only during the dormant season, when all vegetation is without leaves, everything is dry and high temperatures even at night. They are often enticing to a light trap.
This is the first record for Oman.
