ℹ  Information: Helymaeus adlbaueri, a beautiful and very rare species of Callichromini tribe occuring only in Ogaden (Somali State), has been described from Ethiopia by Juhel & Bentanachs, 2009.

Body length: 14 - 16 mm
Peak activity: November - December

⚠  Remarks: Specimens of the species Helymaeus adlbaueri were captured while mating on low vegetation and flowering herbs in a dry acacia bushland during the secondary growing season, coinciding with light rains.
