Information: Goliathus albosignatus, iis the smallest species in genus Goliathus described by Boheman in 1857 from Limpopo prov. in South Africa. The species has marked sexual dimorphism: males have a "Y" shaped horn on clypeus, while females lack this feature and have generally discreet appearance. Species inhabits South African savannah Acacia woodland and well-preserved forests, mostly near water bodies.

Remarks: Specimens have been observed feeding on sap flows Zyziphus mucronata, Combretum molle. Adults often aggregate on sleeping trees at dusk - in the RSA they aggregate on large marula (Sclerocarya birrea caffra) trees.
