Information: Anthia (Termophilum) duodecimgutta, was described from Arabia by Bonelli in 1813. The species occurs mainly on the Arabian Peninsula, where it is not rare. It seeks out sandy semi-deserts and dunes with sparse vegetation.
Body length: 22 - 38 mm
Peak activity: February - October
Remarks: A nocturnal species that is sometimes attracted to a light trap.
Distribution: Arab Emirates, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, [Egypt, Iraq??]
Zoogeographic region: Palearctic
